England. A cool night to follow with lows from 4-6C in Highland

Sat 31 July-Thurs 5August
A deep Low will pass close to NE Scotland on Saturday, with England,
Wales and N Ireland cool with sunny intervals and showers, few for S
England, while Scotland will be windy with some heavy rain in the norht
and east, and will feel cold. For the following days, Scotland will be
affected by further fronts swinging east bringing mostly light rain,
and cool winds, but high pressure to the southwest will keep most other
parts dry, with near normal temperatures; often with a fair amount of
cloud, but some sunshine.
Fri 6-Wed 11 August
High pressure will build in from the southwest. Over the weekend
another Low will bring rain or showers to northeastern areas, and in
its wake there will be a plunge of north winds, so it will be quite

sunshine and temeparures responding
